L-tyrosine

L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid synthesized in the body from phenylalanine, another amino acid. It is a precursor of adrenaline and of norepinephrine and dopamine, two “mood-regulating” neurotransmitters. These two neurotransmitters support the metabolism and the nerve system.

A number of studies suggest that L-tyrosine helps to postpone fatigue and provides extra energy. It also improves mental alertness and concentration during stressful situations. And sport is indeed a form of stress for the body. (1) (2)

L-tyrosine optimizes the nerve impulse from the brain to the muscles helping you get more power.

L-tyrosine is often combined with caffeine in sport supplements because of their synergistic effects.

L-tyrosine is used as a key ingredient in SynTsize Pump.
